Thank you for selecting Keep Your Book Open (KYBO), and welcome to our growing family. By scheduling lessons and utilizing our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions of service.


24-Hour Lesson Cancellation Policy

We understand that you may need to cancel lessons, but we ask our clients to understand the value of our instructors’ time. Each lesson slot reserved by a student is a slot that is no longer available to our other students. Accordingly, cancellations of lessons must be made more than 24 hours in advance of the start time of the lesson that is to be canceled. You will owe payment for the full amount of any lesson canceled by either you or your student within 24 hours of the scheduled meeting start time. Note: Subject to availability, our office will attempt to find a slot for a free reschedule within 24 hours after the originally scheduled lesson.


Membership Cancellation Policy

KYBO.club members may cancel membership at any time by texting or emailing our office. Student will lose access to his or her workspace and any other features at the end of the prepaid period.

Billing and Payment Policies

In order to avoid any processing fees, we require clients to put a payment card on file with our secure credit card processor.

  • All purchases are final.
  • All billing transactions are followed by immediate email receipt to the email address you provided on application to KYBO.
  • All instruction is prepaid, unless you opt into Open Booking with Automatic Billing.
  • If you put a card on file, you will only be billed for selected subscriptions and scheduled lessons, with no processing fees.

Text Message Opt-In Policy

Effective Date: Dec 1, 2024

By opting in to receive text messages from Keep Your Book Open, you agree to the following terms:

  • Consent: By verbally agreeing to opt in or submitting our contact form, you consent to receive text messages from Keep Your Book Open regarding updates about our services. A confirmation message will be sent to verify your opt-in status.
  • Message Frequency: You can expect to receive 4-6 messages per month.
  • Message Content: Messages will include updates on our services, tutoring reminders, and special offers.
  • Opt-Out: To stop receiving messages, reply “STOP” at any time. You will receive one final message confirming your opt-out.
  • Standard Rates: Message and data rates may apply based on your carrier’s plan.
  • Support: For help, reply “HELP” or contact us at support@keepyourbookopen.com.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
